General Federation of Women's Clubs of CT (GFWC/CT) - Part of an international organization with  a mission to provide volunteer services, responds to challenges, and to seize a crisis as an opportunity for moving forward. Their goal is to be of service to others, improve the social, cultural and physical environment and promote appreciation of the arts.

General Federation of Women's Club (GFWC) - is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer service organizations. Working locally through thousands of clubs in the United States and globally in more than 20 countries, GFWC members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding.

ABRI/Homes for the Brave - Since opening its doors in 2002, ABRI/Homes for the Brave has provided safe housing, vocational training and job placement, mental health and addiction services, and life skills coaching to help individuals, especially Veterans, leave homelessness behind. To date, the organization has worked with more than 700  individuals.

Heifer International - Heifer International helps impoverished families worldwide become more self-reliant through the gift of livestock and training in their care.

Women's Center of Greater Danbury, Inc. - The Women's Center of Greater Danbury provides free and confidential services to prevent or lessen the trauma associated with domestic violence, sexual assault and other major life transitions.

 The Breast Cancer Site - Visit The Breast Cancer Site every day and click on the pink "Fund Free Mammograms" button to help fund free mammograms for homeless, low-income women. It costs you nothing to help make early detection and survival possible. Funding is paid by site sponsors and goes to the nonprofit National Breast Cancer Foundation, who uses it to grant access to mammography to women in need. You can click once per day, .

American Mural Project - AMP is a project that has been 10 years in the making. Its founder is a local Northwest Corner resident who is an artist in her own right, Ellen Griesedieck.   It will be the single largest piece of indoor collaborative artwork in the country.   AMP started out as a tribute to working people in America and, now, includes in it's mission a challenge to future generations to explore all possibilities in making career choices and recognize the excitement of those many and varied frontiers that await them.

CCADV - The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Inc. was founded in 1978 as the “Battered Women’s Task Force” and incorporated in 1986, as a vehicle for community-based domestic violence programs to provide statewide public policy advocacy, legislative reform, and education on the issue of domestic violence. Since that time, CCADV has grown from a staff of two to a staff of ten. Membership has also grown to include eighteen member programs. CCADV has also enlarged its focus to provide training, education and technical assistance to its member programs to ensure quality and consistent services throughout Connecticut.
